Hello! Thanks for stopping by!
Here’s a little bit about me:
After earning my Bachelor of Music degree in flute performance at the Hartt School of Music in Hartford, Connecticut, I relocated to Greenville, North Carolina to pursue my Masters degree at East Carolina University.
While at East Carolina, I launched my private teaching studio and became active as a free-lance performer. I serve as piccoloist with the Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra and principal flutist with the Barton/Wilson symphony in addition to my free-lance work. I also teach at Pitt Community College and at The Oakwood School in Greenville, North Carolina.
When I’m not teaching or performing, you can usually find me at home with my two dogs….I always have an audience when I’m practicing. I have an adult daughter, Elizabeth, who is a talented musician in her own right, my extra set of critical ears, and travel buddy.
Are you looking for an experienced teacher in eastern North Carolina? I’d love to meet you!
